Learning Academy

The Learning Academy was conceived as a program to engage faculty with the 2007 Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) and to broaden their familiarity with learning centered instructional techniques and the concepts of classroom assessment. The program has been very successful and has become an important part of our faculty and staff professionalization efforts. It now supports a Scholars Learning Academy that meets monthly throughout the fall and spring semesters, accepting both faculty and staff. The academy also sponsors two learning day workshops per year for all faculty and staff.
